About Us
Nottingham’s Local Education Partnership (LEP) is a joint venture company formed to provide long-term partnering services and is focused around the delivery of the Nottingham City Council’s phased, long term local investment programme.
The LEP is a ten year partnership with an option for this to be extended by a further five years.
The LEP is a company limited by shares with a majority shareholding from inspiredspaces, and shareholding by Nottingham City Council and Amber Infrastructure Limited.
The LEP has built a strong, close and vibrant partnership based upon mutual trust and respect.

What we do:
The LEP delivers all aspects of Nottingham’s school rebuilding and remodelling programmes from inception to completion, supporting Nottingham City Council’s educational transformation through the procurement of appropriate school accommodation and related services.
By creating radically improved school environments and educational climates, the LEP will create the transformational step change for learners and the wider communities.
The LEP’s goals are to:
- Be the catalyst for transforming education and neighbourhoods in Nottingham
- Be seen as the partner for delivering projects for Nottingham City Council and stakeholders
- Benefit the local economy and its people through local spend, jobs and training
- Deliver sustainability excellence in Nottingham and;
- Help ensure Nottingham is a better place to live and work
